This is going around in circles. There's nothing to do here, not least as OP has failed to provide sustantive evidence to support their assertions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Pigsonthewing (talk • contribs) 14:58, 2 July 2025 by (UTC)

The name is wrong and the pictures are not right to be used in this way to spread lies about this person, very bad for the person who is not alive. Remove the information you posted immediately under the made-up name Maloosak because it is not her real name.

These images falsely present a deceased person using a name ("Maloosak") That's not her name and it's wrong not to write the actor's name correctly, misleading information. The person did have a career as an actress, but under a different real name. The materials incorrectly imply a history and identity that are fabricated. This is misleading, disrespectful, and harmful to the memory of the individual and her surviving family. These false connections only started appearing decades after her death. Please remove this immediately all pictures of Maloosak! Abuse of pictures of a person who is not called that with the name Maloosak but someone wrote it that way and you used the wrong name of the person posted on your service! Since the person is not alive, he cannot defend himself. Arken-B (talk) 10:15, 26 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

We have categories for Maloosak (artist), who was born in 1974 and for Maloosak (actress), who made movies around the same time. I guess this is about the actress? She does have an imdb page, but there's not a lot of info there. What would be the correct name? --rimshottalk 16:11, 26 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

The Real Maloosak Born in 1974. A currently active artist. Her legal, registered name is Maloosak. Her images are authentic and may remain online. The Older Woman Was an actress in Iran during the 1970s. She was not named "Maloosak" She passed away, before the real Maloosak was even born. Since around 2020, someone has started uploading and spreading images of the deceased woman under the false name "Maloosak" – likely in an attempt to cause confusion and exploit the real artist Maloosak. This is misleading, harmful, and entirely unprofessional. Any images and content where the deceased woman is incorrectly labeled or referred to as "Maloosak" should be removed from: Wikimedia Commons, Picryl, GetArchive Any other platforms spreading this misinformation-should be removed- Many thanks in advance. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arken-B (talk • contribs) 23:14, 29 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Would you like to answer the questions asked by Jeff G. and rimshot above? Tvpuppy (talk) 23:41, 29 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Talking to you -To Jeff G and @Rimshot: Maloosak (actress) is a fictional or incorrect name. There are no verifiedtyder that that is her namesources or documentation . That’s precisely the issue – false information is being spread using a name that doesn’t belong to her. This is frivolous to post pictures of someone without to have more facts about the person and it spreads incorrect information about the person who posted the picture/ pictures of the dead actor and been dead for over 50 years.

Talking now -To Jeff G and @Rimshot:Yes I have replied Tvpuppy to Jeff G and rimshot, I am a freelance journalist and have looked into this matter. There is no reliable information or verified images online regarding this actor, who is being confused with the real Maloosak, who is still alive. They did not work during the same period, but efforts have been made online to make it seem that way by mixing up photos and information about the living Maloosak with the deceased actor, who only worked within the country Iran and was an actor. I think you should stop spreading images and information that are not accurate. You should also review what rights you have before using material found online or someone posting images and information incorrectly. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arken-B (talk • contribs) 10:49, 30 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Arken-B: you still have not answered the question of what was the actress's real name, and where you have at least one solid citation for that. Till you do that, all we have is what we had in your first post: one person saying the current state of things is wrong. Two people can have the same name, so the fact that they are two different people is not to the point. - Jmabel ! talk 18:24, 30 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

Talking to you -To: Jmabel, Jeff G and @Rimshot: The problem here is not that two different people could have the same name. The issue is that there is no credible or original source that ever identified the deceased actress from the 1970s as being named That name has only appeared many decades later, with no historical or legal evidence to support it.

I am not trying to merge or confuse identities – I am trying to prevent confusion caused by a false retroactive labeling. This creates identity confusion with the real, currently living artist Maloosak, who was born in 1974 and has carried this name legally and publicly for decades.

There is also a growing pattern of this mix-up being intentionally exploited, and it's misleading the public, erasing the living person's identity, and falsely attaching a fabricated identity to a deceased person.

Unless, this labeling should be considered factually incorrect and misleading.

I kindly ask you to correct the captioning and remove references that wrongly associate the name "Maloosak" with the deceased woman. The burden of proof should be on those who added the name to begin with. The actor who is dead was not alive when Maloosak who is alive was born.@Arken-B: Talk — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arken-B (talk • contribs) 10:00, 1 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Arken-B Do you really have that much trouble stringing four tildes together or pinging me when you are writing to me? Please sign your work. What name did Maloosak use before registering as Maloosak? How do you know all this?   — 🇺🇦Jeff G. please ping or talk to me🇺🇦 14:42, 1 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
  • Clearly this actress exists and has a name, but it seems Arken-B doesn’t know her name. So I just went ahead and look for what her name was in credit scenes for movies she was in.
  • According to her IMDb page [1], she was in the movie “The Newly-wed Bride” (1977) [2]. Fortunately, the full movie is available on YouTube [3], and at 3m50s you can see the name “ملوسک” on the credit, which matches her name in fa:ملوسک (which is pronounced similar to “Maloosak”).
  • Whether this was her official English name or not, since most online sources commonly refer to her as “Maloosak”, I think this category is correctly named.
Tvpuppy (talk) 16:15, 1 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Talking to you -To: Jmabel, Jeff G and @Rimshot: The name “ملوسک” ("Maloosak") appearing in the credits of a 1970s Iranian film does not prove that it was the legal or full name of the actress. The actress in that film is not the same person as the artist legally named Maloosak, who was born in 1974 and is alive today. The actress had passed away before the artist Maloosak was even born. It is misleading and harmful to connect these two individuals as if they were one.Just because online sources have started referring to the 1970s actress as “Maloosak” recently does not make it historically or factually correct. This is a case of identity confusion and it needs to be corrected – not cemented by misleading metadata or categories.@Arken-B: Talk 13:43 2 July 2025 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arken-B (talk • contribs) 11:43, 2 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

  1. No one is saying they're the same person. That's why they have different categories.
  2. We don't care if it's the "legal full name". Lots of people have pseudonyms, pen names, and stage names that are not their "legal full name".
We're not deleting a category just because you are personally offended. So it's not clear that there is very much left for us to do here. GMGtalk 12:33, 2 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Talking to you -To: GMGtalk Jmabe l, Jeff G and @Rimshot:I fully understand that pseudonyms and stage names are common and acceptable – that’s not the issue here. The problem is not that a name is used, but how it is used:

  • There is no verified historical or legal evidence that the older actress was ever named.

Categories.@Arken-B: Talk 15:16 2 July 2025 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Arken-B (talk • contribs) 13:16, 2 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

You've already said all this repeatedly. We're aware that this is your view. If you have nothing new to add, I think we're probably done. GMGtalk 13:23, 2 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Talking to you -To: GMGtalk You are using a living person’s Wikipedia information to merge with a person who is deceased. These two must be clearly separated from each other. If you choose not to rely on accurate facts, that is your decision, but spreading false information is unfortunate. It is also disappointing that when someone tries to help you avoid sharing incorrect information, you try to override or dismiss them. Categories.@Arken-B: Talk 15:46 2 July 2025 (UTC)

I'm sorry you feel that way, but it seems Ms. Maloosak will have to learn to cope with an obscure page on an obscure website named after a different person using the same name. GMGtalk 14:11, 2 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Talking now -To Jeff G and @Rimshot:This is done deliberately to cause harm and spread false information. There is a Swedish artist whose real name is Maloosak and who is alive today. At the same time, there was an older Iranian actress with the stage name Melousak, whose real name was Iran Jalali; she was active long ago and is now deceased. The problem is that someone is trying to confuse the two — that is, linking the Swedish Maloosak to the Iranian actress Melousak, even though they are completely different people. Using the wrong name like Maloosak for the dead person creates confusion and also disrespect towards both of them when there is a living person who legally has that name and is a famous artist. I know this can be found on the internet. I ask you not to have them on the same page but separate them by having different names and being different people. Stop spreading wrong information. Please remove the pictures where the actress's name is wrong. - Arken-B ! talk 20:33, 5 June 2025 (UTC)Reply

General advice when trying to convince an organization to release a video under CC-BY-SA 4.0?

[edit]

I know we already have a page explaining VRT and permissions but it doesnt really give any advice as to how to actually convince anyone to release their media under said license. The fact that every exchange is hidden from the public view doesn't help Trade (talk) 00:06, 3 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

That's really hard to answer generically. A corporation would have very different considerations than an NGO, which in turn would have very different considerations than a private individual, etc. - Jmabel ! talk 03:40, 3 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Too vague? Okay one is a news website in a rural American town, other one is a government ministry in South Asia. And a couple of private individuals
Either way i still Commons needs a page about this. Seperate sections for different types of organizations would work Trade (talk) 03:49, 3 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
The closest thing I'm aware of is en:Wikipedia:Example requests for permission. If someone wants to create such a page, that's a good place to start. - Jmabel ! talk 18:35, 3 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Can these images be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons and how?

[edit]

Hi, have been working on developing the Wikipedia article on Sri Lankan Politician Gamini Lokuge because he died recently. I was wanting to add some photos that were in the public domain and I found some stuff. Firstly, a Youtube Video titled "රජයේ ආයතන සදහා නිලධාරින් පත්කරන්නේ ඉතා සුදුසු මට්ටමේ අයයි - රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ගාමිණි ලොකුගේ" which is published under a Creative Commons Attribution license and therefore should be able to be uploaded here. Secondly a photo album published by the Maldivian Presidential Office, which features him, since according to the website all media is uploaded under a Attribution 4.0 International License I should also be able to upload these files here. My question is am I understanding the licenses correctly? If so, how do I properly upload these files to Wikimedia commons while giving proper attribution to the original sources? Any help on this matter would greatly be appreciated! Titanciwiki (talk) 23:44, 3 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Yes sorry!
i can’t send the link for the YouTube video, for some reason Wikipedia commons flags it because it’s a YouTube link, but like I mentioned in my original post the video is titled “රජයේ ආයතන සදහා නිලධාරින් පත්කරන්නේ ඉතා සුදුසු මට්ටමේ අයයි - රාජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය ගාමිණි ලොකුගේ”

@Titanciwiki: YouTube link (no idea why you couldn't link it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLxPqogGwx0) says "© Lifetraveler, 2025. All rights reserved", so that's not eligible.
The Maldives presidency thing seems to state several cases and possibly even contradict itself. It does look like their intent is for content to be reusable, but I don't see how to determine the specific status of any given photo. You might want to take this to COM:VP/C where someone may know more than I do about that particular source. - Jmabel ! talk 05:57, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Wrong facts

[edit]

I have come across a fact written about Eric Watson (Business Man) that is incorrect. How can it be changed please? It says his first wife was Nicola Watson but she was actually his 2nd wife. His first wife was a woman named Susan Butt who passed away from Cancer. She was married to Eric before he made his millions. It's very disrespectful to her name that she is not recognised as Eric"s first wife. Sirocal98 (talk) 23:47, 3 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Sirocal98: Was that somewhere on this site (Wikimedia Commons)? We have over a hundred million files here, a URL or internal wiki link would be very helpful. - Jmabel ! talk 01:05, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

no text appears

[edit]

Hi, I recently uploaded the following files:

* File:Escudo de Armas de Ciudad de Bolivar (bogotá).svg

* File:Escudo de Armas de Bosa (bogotá).svg

But the text for the symbols doesn't appear. Do I need to modify the file or is it already there? PatojuanC (talk) 01:43, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

To be clear, it seems like only the PNG thumbnail has missing text. The raw SVG file still has the text (click "Original file"). HyperAnd (talk) 09:43, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Both SVG do not validate against the W3C Markup Validation Service. Note hat you have to create an optimized version, i.e. without all the editor code. @HyperAnd: The issue here is that by default SVG’s are converted when embedded elsewhere. — Speravir00:19, 6 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
So how do you optimize that? PatojuanC (talk) 01:35, 6 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
In general I use the option for saving optimized SVG in Inkscape. This needs an installed scour program. But just now I tested SVGOMG, an online converter which uses svgo. This produced validated SVG! I meanwhile think, though, the issue is in the font-family declarations. Almost noone will have installed the font Jokerman ot Times New Roman as proprietary Microsoft font, and certainly the server where the image conversion to PNG happens won’t have, too. You should read Help:SVG#Font substitution and fallback fonts.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Speravir (talk • contribs) 22:54, 7 July 2025 (UTC (UTC)
I have noted your update and must say now, that I have no clue in the moment, too. — Speravir22:20, 11 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Argh, PatojuanC: Apart from the fact that you have introduced an undefined “sans” font (it must be sans-serif) and continue to load the “Jokerman” font, which is only available in your system, there is a much more serious problem: The software used in Wikimedia for rendering SVG and converting to PNG (librsvg) does not understand textpath at all! But you use this for the curved text and this is presumably the cause of the issue! You have to set every single letter into a tspan element which you have to position individually, confer Help:SVG#Line wrap. You can add the whole text line as invisible text (attribute display="none"), see e.g. the code of File:Schlacht von Fehrbellin 18 Jun 1675.svg at the very end. I used it in this file for all wrapped lines, and that’s the reason why I remembered now. — Speravir23:40, 11 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

donating black and white photos

[edit]

Hi there,

I have a collection of black and white photos from history of czecho - slovak aviation, majority of these photos I have scanned by myself, cca 40.000 photos from sport or military or commercial pilots, whom are mostly gone now, many of them i knew personally

so how can I do that ?

Gonzo GonzoBA (talk) 15:34, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

@GonzoBA: Hi,
The issue is that owning a picture doesn't mean you own its copyright, which belongs by default to the photographer and their heirs. So according to Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Czechoslovakia, only pictures by authors who died before 1946, or pre-1946 pictures by anonymous authors, can be uploaded without a permission. If you know who was the photographer, then you may be able to get a permission. Thanks, Yann (talk) 15:54, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Photos that I have scanned are prom pilot who died meanwhile, so I can get any approval from them GonzoBA (talk) 16:08, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

As I said above, if the photographer died after 1945, we need a permission from the heirs. Yann (talk) 16:20, 4 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Image Guideline Question

[edit]

I have been working on updating an artists page that hadn't been touched for the last six years. For this project I do slightly have some contact with the artist (a professor - who use to help run WikiEdu collabs - who then knows the artist - and thus got direct permission for these updates to use some of the artwork). Is there a way to properly go about this and the formatted citations for 2d "WP:NOTFREE"? I know it can't be uploaded to Commons, but what other procedures should be followed - as this is my first time with non free use content. Thanks! Willthehelpfuleditor (talk) 21:12, 5 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Willthehelpfuleditor If your use falls under WP:NOTFREE, then it doesn't matter if the artist gives permission or not. But, in general, examples of artwork by living people will not, unless it's in an article about that artwork, like [4].
So, if this artist wants a few of his artworks to appear on Commons/WP, he can register here and upload them himself (this will probably include having to prove identity via mail), or he can make something like this [5] (note the text above the pictures), and then you can upload them on Commons like this [6]. Hope this helps some.
Also. "I have the subjects permission to write this" is a BAD reason to add text on WP. What articles like Plantu needs are WP:BLP-good sources, anything in the article that doesn't have good citations can be removed at any time. That article is indeed neglected, and atm it doesn't have a single source that says "This article should exist on en-WP." Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 07:23, 6 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
Understood, also to clarify I absolutely didn't have his permission to write on this - as I know - that is always a bad reason to write on something. Rather this has been on my docket to fix up and was chatting with a professor of French politics about it - who then unprompted (and without any contact with me) asked the artist to send over some image files. So far that is the all that been done. Maybe after the article is in better shape I'll go reach out to that professor again and see if he can pass along a message about how to self-upload some images to commons (though I certainty wouldn't do that until my editing is done as ofc I wouldn't want to come anywhere close to any form of WP:COI). South Asia maps

[edit]

What are the copyright status of the maps in https://zenodo.org/records/7894128? I would like to use a couple of them.

Is there a means to upload all these maps?

Thanks!

Chaipau (talk) 16:14, 7 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Chaipau It seems they have noted the year of publication in most cases, and on the 2 examples I checked, it's written on the map itself as well. Presumably at least some of these fall under Commons:Copyright rules by territory/India. If these are "government works", that link says " public domain ... 60 years after the end of the year of first publication for anonymous and government works".
I don't know of any automatic tool you can use. Gråbergs Gråa Sång (talk) 17:19, 7 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Gråbergs Gråa Sång, thank you. I shall upload the ones that are relevant to my areas of interest then. Chaipau (talk) 17:25, 7 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Chaipau: Hi, Yes, these maps are OK. I am also interested. We should have a concerted effort for consistent naming and categories. Yann (talk) 17:31, 7 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
But they could still be copyrighted in the U.S. for much longer (typically 95 years). - Jmabel ! talk 18:33, 7 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
The 1957 law was not retroactive, so all maps from before 1946 are OK, as the law was 50 years then. After that, the issue is whether URAA applies on a government work in the public domain in India. Yann (talk) 18:46, 7 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Editing own works that were uploaded on a different account

[edit]

When I tried to upload an updated version of a work I created years ago (File:Silverthrone Caldera.png) using my current account I got a message saying I'm not allowed to overwrite the file because it was not initially uploaded by me (even though I was the one who uploaded it). I tried getting into my old account (User:Black Tusk) to overwrite the file but I have since forgotten the password for it. Is there a way for me to get around the restrictions on my older uploads? Thanks. Volcanoguy (talk) 00:34, 8 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Volcanoguy: If you qualify to be a patroller (oops, corrected below, autopatroller), you can apply at Commons:Requests for rights#Patroller, which would solve this once and for all.
Otherwise, come through Commons:Overwriting existing files/Requests. - Jmabel ! talk 01:50, 8 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

How do I add my company logo to my company page?

[edit]

I'm working on updating the company wiki page for my company that I am partial owner of. When I try to upload our logo for the info box, i get the error We could not determine whether this file is suitable for Wikimedia Commons. Please only upload photos that you took yourself with your camera, or see what else is acceptable. See the guide to make sure the file is acceptable and learn how to upload it on Wikimedia Commons.

This is my logo, we created it. I even checked the box that this is my work. I even tried to upload on wikimedia commons and i get the same error.

Why can't I upload my own logo to my own company page? PS-Josh (talk) 14:20, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

That's the effect on an automatic filter blocking some cross-wiki uploads. The reason behind this is to reduce the amount of illicit uploads / copyright violations which were uploaded en masse with this technique. PS-Josh, you can avoid the filtering by using the Special:UploadWizard directly here, on Commons. Regards, Grand-Duc (talk) 14:31, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
@PS-Josh: Hi, and welcome. I am sorry to inform you that you have triggered Special:AbuseFilter/153 by trying to cross-wiki upload a png logo as a new user. Such uploads of png logos are not allowed at all. You indicated it's your own work. Usually when someone uploads a png logo, it's a copyright violation taken from the web. Please upload the full-size original of it per COM:HR, including any metadata, but it may be judged too complex to be under TOO in the country of origin, so you may need to license it on your official website or social media or send permission via VRT. Also, any png image will look fuzzy when scaled down (due to design decisions discussed in phab:T192744) or jaggy when scaled up, so you may want to upload an svg or jpg version, too. If you can't get a compliant license, the logo may still be uploaded to English Wikipedia in compliance with en:WP:F because we don't allow Fair Use here. If you use our Upload Wizard instead, you should be able to avoid filter 153. You also triggered Special:AbuseFilter/332 by uploading as a regular user with no email confirmed; please confirm it (by following the link you were emailed).   — 🇺🇦Jeff G. please ping or talk to me🇺🇦 15:01, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
To clarify what I'm trying to accomplish, I want to add our official logo to Draft:PurpleSec - Wikipedia just like how other companies have their trademarked or copyrighted logos in the infobox on their wikis (example: CrowdStrike - Wikipedia)
It seems a bit of a catch 22 that uploads must be free licensed but if it's something for a company then it is not free licensed. How do I overcome this so the proper official logo can be added to the page? PS-Josh (talk) 15:07, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
PS-Josh, you're declaring yourself as CTO of this company. So, we can assume that you're entitled to arrange for copyright arrangements about your media, including the logo. Furthermore, you should own and operate a company e-mail address. Use this address to contact the COM:Volunteer Response Team for the relevant copyright declarations. An upload and usage of the logo should become possible down the line. And just as information, please be aware of Foundation:PAID. Regards, Grand-Duc (talk) 17:01, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
@Grand-Duc: his en-wiki user page already indicates that he has a conflict of interest, so he's doing this at least more or less right.
@PS-Josh: , Grand-Duc is very much right about the Volunteer Response Team (VRT). I think that page should be self-explanatory. - Jmabel ! talk 20:34, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Historic Monument Image

@Basavaraj M: There are a few ways to do this appropriately. The key is to use {{Retouched}} to explain what you did. You can either upload the unretouched image under one filename and the retouched image under another name (and link them with {{Derivative works}} / {{Derived from}} in the "other versions" section of {{Information}}) or you can upload the unretouched version, then overwrite with the retouched version. - Jmabel ! talk 20:37, 9 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Uploading/converting HEIC files

[edit]

So, I'm trying to upload some pictures I took last weekend (of a breed of sheep that we have no images of) using my son's new iPhone, as I thought the quality would be better than my old one (it is, much!). But the images are in HEIC format and I can't upload them. I converted them to PNG by exporting them from Preview on my MacBook – which made them about ten times the size – but I still can't upload them, as now I get an error message "File extension ".png" does not match the detected MIME type of the file (image/heic)". I don't even know what a mime type is, let alone how to edit it. Any advice? Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 13:26, 13 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Public domain images with Getty Images numbers on them...

[edit]

The pictures shown here were all added by other users to the Wikipedia article on Cris Tinley. They are believed to be public domain, and were downloaded from Getty Images. There are no wordmarks, but in the lower-left, they all have their Getty Images ID still on them. Is this acceptable for a Wikipedia article, or do the numbers they have to be removed as well? If so, is a simple crop okay or does that mess up the PD nature of these pictures? -- JustJamie820 (talk) 04:11, 14 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Jeff. How would I use the CSS image crop thing on a Wikipedia page? Images are not my strong point.
Also, just to clarify, it is okay for the images to have the Getty numbers on the unedited versions, correct? Just wondering, in case I need to find versions without the numbers. -- JustJamie820 (talk) 04:58, 14 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for replying Jmabel. Now that I know all this, I'll keep the images as they are, while using the CSS cropper to leave them out on the Wikipedia page. -- JustJamie820 (talk) 05:53, 14 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Thai baht and satang coins

[edit]

Im unsure if the copyright for thai money goes for the baht coins and satang coins too, since i have some images featureing satang and baht coins uploaded here on commons. Isthisthing (talk) 08:18, 14 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

At Category:Coins of Thailand you will see "Attention: Upload only photographs of currencies which were designed before 1975"
And Off topic: You uploaded images of Swedish coins, but at Category:Coins of Sweden you will see "Attention: Upload only photographs of currencies whose designer died before 1955". However, some other users also did upload images that do not comply to this remark.
