Speedy keep: Mistake nomination? --Amitie 10g (talk) 14:51, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
- Did you bother to follow the link to the other DR? Apparently not. Jcb (talk) 15:52, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, I did, and,
- The File History of this file does not contain User:Daniel.lopez.17 as uploader.
- The deleted files in the DR are raster, and this file is SVG.
- The description contains Heraldic information, and as User:Shadowxfox mentioned, he created this rendition based on his own interpretation of the blazon (and I really believe that he created the CoA, why you don't?).

Comment The current version of the Coat of arms of Colombia, available for wikipedia, is my own interpretation of the blazon in accordance with existing laws, so if someone owns the copyright on this drawing would be my person. This is the current government and official design of the emblem, nothing like the one we have on wikipedia. --Shadowxfox (talk) 20:10, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
- Then what is "Public domain This file is in the public domain, because the author of xrmap, the creator of this image, has stated that it is in the public domain." supposed to mean? I find this a weird PD rationale. Jcb (talk) 23:19, 18 November 2016 (UTC)
- By seeing the Page History, is easy to determine that your above question is irrelevant for this version of the file (and there are huge differences between File versions). Shadowxfox is the author of this rendition, end of discussion. --Amitie 10g (talk) 00:28, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
@Shadowxfox: Can you have a look at the license mess? Jcb (talk) 00:33, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
Comment @Jcb: The license in the description corresponds with the first versions of the file (made by users FXXX and F3rn4nd0), but does not include mine, as they are proper interpretations of the blazon. These versions were extracted from the first upload of the File:Naval Ensign of Colombia.svg, which upload description says: Naval Ensign of w:Colombia, from the xrmap flag collection 2.9. . I assume that Xrmap was a web repository of svg files available for download and free use but no longer exists, so that such a license would, in fact, be obsolete. I could not say which license currently corresponds to the one mentioned. If you have any clue about which fits better, it would be good to share it. --Shadowxfox (talk) 00:50, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
- If you drew the current version, you have to choose a compatible license to release your work. That could be e.g. {{CC-BY-SA 3.0}}. Jcb (talk) 01:20, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
Keep Really? Fry1989 eh? 15:22, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
- If you bother to read the discussion above, you will see that there is indeed a problem, but that this is on it's way to being fixed. As soon as Shadowxfox specifies a license for his work, we can deleted the old versions, while keeping the version of his authorship, and close this DR. Jcb (talk) 16:49, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
Done. License changed to Cc-by-sa-3.0. --Shadowxfox (talk) 02:27, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
- Thanks! Jcb (talk) 12:28, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
Kept: resolved. --Jcb (talk) 12:28, 20 November 2016 (UTC)
